Lending Library/Resource Materials

The Caltech Counseling Center has a variety of written materials on topics related to mental health that are available for students' use. A student does not have to be seeing a counselor at the Center to use these materials. These books and pamphlets are kept in a bookcase in the Counseling Center lobby and students may sign them out on the honor system. A small sample of the titles available is presented below:

Beating the College Blues
Breaking Hearts: Two Sides of Unrequited Love
Dance of Anger
Depression Workbook
Drama of the Gifted Child
Driven to Distraction
Fat is a Feminist Issue
From Nyet to Da: Understanding the Russians
Getting Control-Overcoming Your Obsessions and Compulsions

Living in the U.S.A.
Loving Someone Gay
Managing Your Anxiety
Procrastination

The results from a survey of Caltech graduates and undergraduates' drug and alcohol use are available on the net.
